Nadra Ahmed CBE
Nadra has been involved in social care for more than 40 years. She was elected chairman of NCA in 2001, a position now shared with Ian Turner following the recent merger with RNHA. Nadra is a trustee of Royal British Legion Industries and governor at Canterbury Christchurch University. She is one of the co-convenors of the Cavendish Coalition, formed pre-Brexit, with the NHS and Unison, to support workforce issues in health and social care. Nadra is the current chair of the Care Provider Alliance and continues to serve on government taskforces and advisory committees in the DHSC, Home Office and other government departments. Nadra holds numerous positions within voluntary organisations delivering services to vulnerable people in the community.
