Martin qualified as a chartered surveyor in the early 1990s and has specialised in the healthcare real estate market since 1997. During that time, he has worked either as a valuer or an investment advisor and latterly he established the UK healthcare team of Cushman & Wakefield, starting in 2016. In 2021 he left the advisory world to become an investor, joining Impact last summer. Impact Health Partners is Impact Healthcare’s investment management arm. The business is a relatively recent entrant to the investment market, having been created by IPO in 2016, acquiring a portfolio of 57 properties from a single tenant. The portfolio now has around 140 elderly care assets with 14 different tenants, across all parts of the UK.
