Bruce Walker
Bruce’s early career was in property and corporate finance at Johnson Fry and Brown Shipley, followed by three years as corporate and finance director of FairBriar. He was finance director of Ashley House, leading the flotation in 2007 and established investment company AH Medical Properties as chief executive prior to its acquisition by Assura. In 2013 Bruce led a strategic review of the Quercus Healthcare Property Fund for Quintain. Upon the acquisition of Quercus and the Lifestyle Care portfolio by Lone Star in 2016, Bruce’s company Layland Walker was appointed as asset managers incorporating some 100 care homes. In 2019 Aedifica, a pan-European healthcare REIT, acquired the portfolio and acquired Layland Walker in 2021 from Bruce and his colleagues. Bruce was non-executive chairman of Greene Light Stage (previously Old Vic Productions) and is a trustee of charity Rackets Cubed.
